Champions Cup

The Gold Coast Champions Cup is an initiative of the Mudgeeraba Soccer Club.

The tournament commenced in 1996 with a goal of affording the youth of Mudgeeraba an opportunity to advance their football skills while simultaneously developing cultural understanding, respect and friendship through sport.

The belief of the tournament founders was that the Gold Coast with its world class Carrara Stadium and Sports Complex, its internationally acclaimed pristine beaches and tourist attractions and its perfect September weather provided the ideal location to conduct a high quality International Youth Football Tournament.

The extraordinary commitment of Mudgeeraba Soccer Club members over time has seen the Gold Coast Champions Cup grow to be the largest International Tournament of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
