The 2010 male player of the tournament (age categories 15-18 years) will win an FMG scholarship of a football trip to the UK/Europe. James Donachie: Winner of the 2009 FMG European Tour Scholarship
The standard of the GCCC was so high this year that Rangers invited a second player form the tournament, Rochedale's Left Back 16 y/o Jordan Seeto. Both James and Jordan have just returned from Murray Park in Scotland. Rangers are actually negotiating with us about the future of James Donachie. We are told James trialed without fault through the week. Rangers were taken by his size, strength, leadership quality and shere calmness. We are told james is one of the few trialists for his age that they have witnessed who has simply not been overwhelmed by the occasion. - Steven Massey (FMG) Scholarship – The Football Management Group Gold Coast Champions Youth Cup The Football Management Group (FMG) has been unveiled as the Naming Rights Sponsor for the Gold Coast Champions Youth Cup.
